SVH-4 Helicopter Trainer

Add to inquiry box
Production information
SVH-4 is a safe and economical aircraft for helicopter training. The SVH-4 helicopter trainer provides actual helicopter flight teaching to trainees on the ground, which not only gives them the real helicopter flight experience, but also prevents all the risks of an actual flight in the sky. The aircraft has been widely used for pilot skill training during emergency rescue in Europe and America. The SVH-4 is a professional option for both flight training and gaining experience.

The SVH-4 helicopter trainer is a unique aircraft designed to move on the ground based on the traditional helicopter. It allows the trainees to safely perform all flight operations, including a normal hover and gliding up to 3 feet above the ground. To allow trainees to get started easily, the trainer uses the same interface as a real helicopter. The whole trainer consists of a platform with eight wheels for moving in all directions and gas cylinders on both sides of the support frame for adjusting the helicopter's ascent and descent. The complex and complete structure not only enables the trainees to experience take-off from the ground during the operation, but also protects them from the risk of the initial operation.

Platform Design

The platform is octagonal and mounted on self-aligning wheels that allow the platform to move in all directions. As a part of the simulator, the platform is in contact with the ground at all times.

The lower structure, which is located in the center of the platform and can rotate freely along the vertical axis, is composed of a horizontal gas compression tank and two cylinders, each of which is fixed vertically upward at the end of the compression tank. Meanwhile, the upper structure has a cross rod and a transverse bar that holds the helicopter's main shaft at the midpoint of the cross rod, so that the helicopter can rotate toward the longitudinal and transverse axes without touching the transverse bar. Two support rods are fixed vertically downward at both ends of the horizontal bar and are used on both sides of the helicopter, located at the cylinder pistons of the substructure. The cylinder and piston systems are linked to the superstructure and can be raised along with the helicopter, while the substructure remains on the platform. The maximum elevation of the helicopter is 90 cm.
The following safety measures are taken to protect both the device and its passengers:
RPM Limiter: When the preset RPM value is reached, the engine power will be automatically reduced, so RPM will not exceed the value considered dangerous.
Height Limiter: This system can prevent unnecessary impact on SVH-4 due to over-height, which may be caused by unskilled trainees.
Engine Protection: In the event that the engine’s temperature exceeds the normal operating temperature by too much, the instructor may immediately stop the engine with the touchscreen.
Quick Engine Stopping: The instructor may immediately stop the engine with the touchscreen to cease any potentially dangerous practices of a trainee or an undesirable situation.
Operating Area: The field for operating the SVH-4 is a completely flat and level square zone, the side length of which is 12 m, surrounded by a 6 m wide safety zone, the surface of which will not permit the SVH-4 to move or have any obstacles.
